If you are using an older version of Boomerang and would like to upgrade to the most recent version, please follow the steps on this page.
- Make backups of important data. Installing a new version of Boomerang can erase changes made to Boomerang TinyOS system files. Back up important data before proceeding.
- Uninstall any previous version of Boomerang, such as Boomerang 2.0.2. Note: Uninstalling will not delete any of your data
- Uninstall using "Add/Remove Programs"
- Click on "Start", then "Control Panel"
- Double click on "Add/Remove Programs"
- Select the old version of Boomerang (often called "Moteiv Tmote Tools" (such as Tmote Tools 2.0.2)
- Click "Remove"
- Answer "Yes" to remove Tmote Tools
- If you no longer have the Tmote Tools 2.0.2 CD, you can also forcibly uninstall the package using the Windows Installer CleanUp Utility
- Uninstall using "Add/Remove Programs"
- Install the new version of Boomerang Tmote Tools
